The staff seems friendly enough. 2nd time here over 18 months. Some claim their food is"comfort food" but sadly I've no comfort in a bowl of bland drizzled over a plate of bland. You will pay for the calories... not for the recipes. Wish I could report otherwise....I likes me some good down home cooking whether here or way down south.

Very amazing food. Im extremely picky when I eat breakfast in places because I like my eggs with yoke but no slimy whites I told the server what I wanted and my eggs came out perfectly. Kudos to the cook that morning. If you want good food and fast service I recommend this place.

Another good mom and pop restaurant find. The food was good and service was great. Would visit again. Had a burger and fries. The burger was good but the fries were outstanding.

This place is off the beaten path but i would literally drive from GR to go here once a week if it were feasible. Small, quaint, and more delicious than i could describe in words. Also: cinnamon bun. Do it. Every time, do it.

Prices are right. Portions are huge. Small diner. Staff were great. Closes early daily except for Friday fish fry with an AYCE for $12.99. AWESOME place.

All these years growing up around here and I've never been there. Went in there the first week they were reopened from COVID19 and was pleasantly surprised with everything. I had the Reuben. I always think it's weird when they don't put the Thousand Island on the sandwich but hey it was still killer! Lots of fries with my meal and I've never had to worry about my drink. Extremely reasonably priced everything was super clean very efficient and very Timely.

The food is GREAT at the Diner. It's been a popular place for my extended family and I for three generations now. If you haven't went to this little family owned gem then you truly haven't eaten a great cooked meal at a restaurant in a little while!!!

Great little diner north of Mt Pleasant. Kind of a small place, but worth the wait when they are busy. We try to go at least every other week for a great breakfast.

The BEST breakfast ever. Absolutely nothing compares. Great staff, friendly, quick service and never once have they messed up an order. The diner has set the breakfast standard!

Amazing food! It was hot when it came to the table. Waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. Fair prices. Corned beef Hash portion was a little small, but with all the other delicious food that came with my order, I didn't leave hungry! My breakfast was the best I've had in a while. Definitely worth going to!

This place has it down! The food was great, healthy portions and very tasty breakfast. The staff is on point! Great waitresses, fast service. The food came out quick even though the place was packed. They turn tables so fast even waiting for one is quick. It's easy to get to on and off the freeway, so we love stopping here on our way up north.

First time here. Came in on a Saturday morning and the place was packed. That didn't slow anyone here down, we received our order very quickly and our server never let our coffee cups get empty. I'm glad Bob Evans was packed or else I would have never found this gem. Definitely will return when I'm in the area.

1st time trying The Diner, we ordered pick up and when I get there my order was accidentally given away to someone else.. didnt ruin my morning just waited a bit longer. The nice lady in the front didn't make me pay the $25 for my order after waiting, was very impressed and oh, I highly recommend the country omelet!
